Apartment Picks

Hello there!

Isn't it crazy how much longer a holiday weekend feels than a normal weekend? We only get an extra day and yet it seems like you leave work on Friday and have so much more time to get things done, go out, or just relax.

Anyways, as some of you probably already know, I will be moving in August! As much as I love living with my family, the thought of having my own space and decorating it just makes me giddy. I have been Pinteresting up a storm and wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite ideas for my soon-to-be new space:

As you can tell from the photos above, I want the space to be neutral with pops of color, especially my bedroom. I want most of my room to be creamed colored so that the printed cream and orange rug and blue dresser stand out. Textures have definitely help me keep my neutral palette for my room. I am already working the DIY Fibre Art for behind my bed from A Beautiful Mess Blog and it looks AMAZING! The color is bland but with the tassels and the weaved puffy yarn, it is just beautiful.

For the living room, my roommate and I are going to have a gallery wall but with only art from TV shows or movies that we love! I have my eye on the Trainspotting poster and the Gilmore Girls art. Both just seem to capture the essence of the stories...I know that sounds lame but it really is true.

The other main element we are focusing on is the bar cart. It's really strange because I don't drink very much, but bar carts are just too cool not have one! We've already got some items from garage sales and vintage shops but I can't wait for it to come all together.

I'll keep you all updated on the progress. Some more DIYs are definitely coming!

  1. I love how simple a room can be and by adding on simple accessory with color can change the whole vibe.

  2. Most apartments in Dallas necessitate that you acquire roughly multiple times the rental sum. Along these lines, for example, on the off chance that your pay is $3000 per month, you most likely would meet all requirements for an apartment that is about $1000 per month in lease.apartments in pittsburg ks

  4. For instance, if you have a one bedroom, they sometimes have a very specific list of the only items they will move. For example: 1 couch, 1 coffee table, one dining room table, 4 dining chairs, a bed, a dresser, a nightstand, 2 lamps, a few boxes (they often will only agree to move a small number of boxes) and many times that is it!!mybahamasvacations.com

  5. The most inspiring stuff commonly is probably the most dull or boring concern. a single rooster may not be in the same woody plant strip very long, and also the pets within the pine is a kind of weight, always want to consult the next stars, the particular fowl because the plants are really hesitant to facial expression an equal beautiful places day by day.
