Outfit of the day with a new lovely find!

My outfit was pretty comfy today, so I put my new hair clips in! I love them so much!

AHH, I will be in Rome soon!

Yesterday, I changed the clock on my phone to 24-hour time. I need to get used to reading clocks like this before Rome! I am already starting to get used to it, and it is getting me even more excited!

Halloween!

We dressed up last weekend for Halloween, it was really fun! We didn't have to spend any money on our costumes either! I was pretty proud of us!

Lovely Find

I got this dress from Forever 21 on Friday! I love, love, love collars! I cannot stop buying them!

Check out my tumblr!

Today I felt so happy and it wasn't for any particular reason. I love that feeling, don't you? Feeling happy about everything and just wanting that feeling to last forever. I don't know what will happen when I wake up tomorrow but today has been amazing and to help me remember this feeling I reblogged some photos on my tumblr that make me happy! Check it out:

This is my life...

I sneezed as I took the picture! Hahahaha

I wanted to find an excuse for posting this picture on here so I thought I would share a funny moment that happened to me the other day to complement this picture.

Last week, I went to the dermatologist. I parked on the street a few store-fronts up from my doctor's office. As I left my appointment and walked to my car, it was a bit after 3 o'clock so there were a lot of school-aged kids hanging out outside the ice cream shoppe that I had parked in front of. As I walked towards my car, I noticed that there were about 10 boys that looked around 12. I didn't think anything of it until I got closer and they parted so that there were five boys in a line on either side of me. Now, obviously, I am confused. Even so, I kept walking. Then, as soon as I had reached them, they started to clap in unison. I looked around trying to understand what was going on, but all they said was, 'have a nice day, m'am!'. So, at first I was a bit annoyed that they had called me m'am and embarrassed because I felt like they were making fun of me, but then I stopped reading into and just enjoyed the fact that 10 people just applauded me for no reason.

Haha, so that's my funny story of the day (more to come).

Don't hold back.

'It's time to begin, isn't it?
I get a little bit bigger, but then I'll admit
I'm just the same as I was
Now don't you understand
That I'm never changing who I am.'

I cannot stop thinking about 'Perks of Being a Wallflower'! I want to be like them. They all seem so honest about who they are all the time. I feel like I am like that when I am with my friends but when I meet new people, I tend to be quiet and a bit shy. I don't want them to judge me or to think I am weird, but who cares! I want to just be honest about all sides of myself. If I am depressed or hyper or happy or angry, I just want to show it and feel it…maybe not all of that to people I have just met but I at least show them a bit of that. I feel like sometimes it is even hard to show all those emotions to my friends, I feel guilty acting sad or quiet. This movie is helping me realize this and that's why I love it so much!

I cannot wait to vote!

Let's make this week a good one!

I am going to try and make some small changes to my weekly routine. I'm going to participate more in Italian class, eat a bit healthier, and try to relax more. Hopefully all goes well, I will keep you posted!

High Five for Friday!

1. I don't know why it took me so long to buy 'A Casual Vacancy' because Harry Potter is my biggest obsession, but now I can't put it down!
2. I can't go home without watching at least one or two episodes of 'Misfits' with my mom! Only one episode left of series 2 :(
3. My fab socks!
4. This past Thursday, I traveled with my family to Washington D.C. to attend an awards ceremony in memory of my Pap-Pap Joe, this was the program (more pictures and posts to come).
5. I have recently started whiting my teeth...I have only been doing it for a few days but I hope it works!

Spending the day at a Civil War Camp

A couple weekends ago, we went to Dad's last Civil War Reenactment! It was a great day; Mom, Annie, Ben, Papap, Nicol, Adam, and I watched the battle, looked at the vendors, and even ate a Thanksgiving dinner made on the fire. It was nice to see Dad doing something he enjoys so much and see how much the other soldiers look up and joke around with him. Plus, the next day we had a big spaghetti dinner for everyone at our house!

Worst part of studying abroad...

Applying for a visa! I sent my materials and application today and am still quite nervous that I did something wrong despite the fact that I have been obsessively checking it every hour for the past two weeks. Haha. Fingers crossed I did everything right and I won't have to worry about it anymore!
